An exciting new chapter
converting the garden

and Mr P’s office into Nice Places to Be.
.
Tomorrow is my first ever Cambridge Open Studio. Here’s where I’ll be sitting and making things as people drift in.

Here’s where visitors can try things on.
Here’s where they can sit in the sun for a minute or two. Just look at Mrs Bobo Bun’s crochet bunting. Delicious.

I’ve been visiting other studios round the county every July for nearly twenty years and always longed to be part of it. Around two hundred other workshops and special sheds will be open at the same time for artists to show their work and how it is made.
I’m thrilled to be joining in at last.

This is the view.
All I have left to do

is price up and put out the silveriness here tomorrow morning.

If you’re in Cambridgeshire I’d love to see you. If you don’t have a COS guide but want to come along, email me and I’ll send you directions.

BTW Pass the Book is now closed - I will be drawing the winners early next week. So many thanks for all the entries and charm ideas!

Wow, it looks fantastic, very welcoming indeed, if I were able to visit I don’t think I’d want to leave!
The butterfly is very pretty.
I notice you have a Kaffe Fassett pansy bowl cushion, did you do the needlework yourself? I have the kit lurking in a corner somewhere, I was finding the background less than interesting to do, however, after seeing yours all lovely and complete I think I may go and dig it out…
Hope all goes well for you.

I\\\’ll try to pop in either this w/e or in a couple of weeks. Maybe combining it with searching for the Lizard Orchids on the Devil\\\’s Dyke.

As I write this I’m thinking of you surrounded by admiring visitors. It looks absolutely delightful. Your garden is a picture. The butterfly is beautiful and especially like the fact that the makers fingerprints appear just here and there preserved for posterity.
I wish you the happiest days.
