Pass the Book draw

The last week’s been a whirlwind - Open Studios, some commissions, croup.

Croup? Do I live on the pages of Anne of Green Gables? I thought croup was a defunct disease but no, littlest woke up with it last Thursday morning. I shall be watching out for agues and pestilences.

Anyway, all these things meant I’ve been slow in drawing Pass the Book. I’m afraid I haven’t been fancy schmancy with this one. It’s a quick bish bash with the random number generator and Bob’s you uncle.

So,

here we go

the winner of the little copy of Cranford to pass on and a silver charm of her choosing is

anne-at-andamento

Number 14,  Anne, of Andamento!

The two runners up who will also receive charms are

winnibriggs-house

Number 27, Winnibrigg’s House

and

coffee-lady

Number 25, The Coffee Lady.

Hurray! The only problem is, I don’t know what any of the three of you would like, silver charm-wise, so drop me a line and I’ll get busy with the fizzy.

I’m thinking of popping a book in for all three to be honest - I like this sharing books malarkey.

If any of you would like any self-seedy seeds I can pop some of those in too.

Thankyou so much for all your entries - it was serious fun, as usual x

Congratulations to your lucky winners — I almost had it there — three out of four letters…Anne instead of Anna LOL!

Congrats to all, and sorry to hear about the croup - Tall Small had that once and I remember hours spent sitting in the bathroom in the early hours with the shower running hot enough to scald. Yuk.

Congratulations to the lucky, lucky winners!!! Hope your little one is over her croup now, mine used to get it when they were little.

I cannot tell a lie, I’m sad I’m not a winner. But the good news is I don’t hold grudges, so well done to the lucky winner. I’m off now to Waterstones to buy my own copy.
My daughter had croup when she was small, she had pestilences too, otherwise known as nits. Hope your little one recovers soon.

Don’t forget the vapours. Those things can really sneak up on you! ;)

Hugely huge congratulations to the winners - even if I am rather jealous too! Sorry to hear about the croup though! Hope you are all well again. Lucy xxx

SmallerBean has pestilences right now. The little buggers won’t go. I have the agues, brought on by a little bit too much pinot grigot in the pub last night. No vapours to speak of. Yet.
Croup is very scary. I ran across the road in tears to the doctors house when SmallBean had aged 8 months. Felt very foolish when they kindly told me what it was.
Well, you lucky winners, enjoy your treasures. And your weekends. Oh. Just realised it’s not Friday. Poo.

Can’t believe it, it’s me! Pure dead brilliant (as some round here say). I would love one of your gorgeous little bird charms. Self seedy seeds sound good too, and I get a great book to read. I’ve not seen the tv adaption so will enjoy it fresh, as I did with North & South. I’m going to bed happy tonight, thank you!

Lucky lucky winners! And Emma, I’m happy to tell you you’ve won the ‘Derek Jarman’s Garden’ book. Really love your collaboration with Gina, beautiful!
